O-limp-ic Cyclist

We're halfway there! I can't believe it honestly, because sometimes it feels like I'm still in training. Still got absolutely zero clue what is going on, what to say or do, but the spirit is a team carrier, and always clutches up at the last minute.
I was set apart as a missionary on Saturday 6th September 2025, but it feels like yesterday. All my troubles felt so far away, but time catches up with you, whether you like it or not

I'm grateful for everyone that I've served with, and all the missionaries that have taught me more about myself, and what I need to do to be better

This week was an interesting week to say the least. One of my relatives, Lee, was in Oak Harbour last week, which is about an hour and a bit from us, depending on which was you go. Anyway, he decided to come down and take us out to lunch! We went and got some MOD pizza, and it was a great time! He brought one of his friends, who is Swiss, and Lee is French, so we were able to talk about European stuff, and about how hard it would be to get people to follow the word of wisdom in Europe, because they're all traditionally drinkers, some more than others, but it's a continent wide thing. My sympathies go out to every missionary who has to teach Europeans about the word of wisdom

We went to the football night on Thursday as usual with Edward. He's progressing really well, but then disaster struck. I went in for a challenge, hoping to win possession of the ball, but the other guy was bigger and more willing to go in, and next thing I know some of his studs go straight into my right foot and it explodes with pain. It was really sore and I couldn't walk on it without limping, but I don't wanna be a wuss, so I kept playing. After we got home I took a closer look and one of my toes was swollen and a few days later it started going purple. So we're gonna go to urgent care tomorrow to get it checked. It's probably not broken, I can still walk, just with a limp. I gotta get a cane. A cool one that has a sword in it would be sick

I also got bit to death by mosquitoes at the football night. My legs are now spottier than a dalmatian

We're now car sharing with another set of elders, so we bike half the week and they bike the other half. I don't actually mind it that much. Our area only has a few big hills, and other than that it's relatively flat. I lucked out with the area that I got for sure.

We also moved into the sisters' old flat, and they moved into ours. We now live with the elders that we're car sharing with, and it's nice to have more roommates.

I also took like zero pictures this week. I'll do better this week

Mosiah 18:21
"And he commanded them that there should be no contention one with another, but that they should look forward with one eye, having one faith and one baptism, having their hearts knit together in unity and in love one towards another."
